In the event of extreme weather or environmental circumstances beyond our control (including Covid)* and if instructed by Hull City Council, Humberside Police or any emergency service, HullBID reserves the right to cancel any element of the three-day event, even if at short notice (*not exhaustive). All goods sold throughout the Festival are strictly and entirely the responsibility of the vendors. Any issues or complaints arising from purchases made must be taken up directly by the vendors. All traders operate independently of HullBID. All associated activities are undertaken at the user’s own risk. Food provision and venues provided by third parties are the sole responsibility of the supplier. No liability shall lie with HullBID. HullBID cannot be responsible nor liable for any personal belongings brought onto the site. HullBID reserves the right to take photographic images for marketing purposes, at its discretion. HulllBID reserves the right to control all press releases which must be passed to the event co-ordinator, Catherine@hullbid.co.uk, for approval. Payment for pitches MUST be paid for in advance. If payment is not made at least one week in advance of the event, we may ultimately release your reserved pitch to another vendor. A 100% cancellation fee (of the fee paid) will be applicable for any vendor withdrawing from the event if they provide less than 72 hours notice. HullBID reserves the right to select the location of vendors/stalls in advance of any markets. HullBID has the right to demand removal of any advertising/social media posts which may damage the reputation of HullBID and the Ministry of Steampunk. Any event where a fee is payable, is a direct transaction between the purchaser and the supplier. HullBID cannot be held liable for any disputes arising therefrom.
